Half-Bridge Gate Driver
Overview¶
The IR2304 forms the interface between the logic domain and the power stage.
It converts the complementary outputs generated by Timer1 into gate drive signals suitable for the external switching devices.

Function¶
The driver performs:
- level shifting,
- gate current amplification,
- generation of high-side gate voltage,
- dead-time insertion,
- isolation between control and power domains.

Design Philosophy¶
