Burst State

Purpose

The Burst state generates the carrier pulses that form the active portion of a packet.

Timer1 produces complementary outputs on D9 and D10.


Responsibilities

  • Enable carrier generation.
  • Count burst pulses.
  • Maintain waveform symmetry.
  • Execute the current packet segment.

Entry Conditions

Burst state is entered from:

Idle

or

Gap

Exit Condition

The desired number of carrier pulses has been generated.
