Overview¶
Although REVA appears to operate continuously, internally it moves through several logical states.

Startup¶
Hardware reset occurs.
No waveform generation is active.
Initialization¶
Firmware loads:
- parameters
- packet libraries
- display resources
Idle Operation¶
REVA waits for operator interaction.
Packet execution continues normally.
Packet Execution¶
Packet families are executed continuously.
Timer2 controls packet timing.
Timer1 generates the carrier.
Parameter Change¶
Operator actions modify:
- family selection
- pulse scale
- gap scale
The Packet Executor immediately receives updated values.
EEPROM Update¶
Modified settings may be stored.
After storage, normal execution resumes.
